Social Studies (Grade 6-8)

Social studies education helps students understand the world they live in, so they can make informed decisions about issues affecting them, especially when they grow older. Through social studies, students develop historical thinking and literacy as a way of navigating our world. A part of a school or college curriculum concerned with the study of social relationships and the functioning of society and usually made up of courses in history, government, economics, civics, sociology, geography, and anthropology.
