The session has been designed for parents or guardians of children of all age groups. Children are also encouraged to be part of the “Parenting a teenager” session with their families. 

The ” Parenting a Teenager” session will help parents learn about parenting skills needed while bringing their teenage children. In addition to this, they will have a chance to interact with the experts and other parents. Various talks and highly engaging activities are planned for all.

Panelist #1

Ms. Sidrat Asim is a certified conscious parenting coach and founder of “Elasticity of Momming”. Before becoming a Parenting Coach, she worked as an academic economist for 8 years. “Elasticity of Momming” is a manifestation of her vision to change the world by teaching parents how to raise secure, emotionally intelligent, mindful, and compassionate children in order to lift their spirits

 Panelist # 2

Ms. Kanwal Abbas  is a Relationship Counsellor between parents and children. She facilitate them in building a healthy relationship. In addition to this, she has a variety of experiences in both primary and secondary care for adults and children. Ms. Kanwal has an integrative approach and utilizes a combination of person-centered and mindfulness. Particularly her interest lies in working with families, parents, and children.

Sir Abid Ali  does not need any introduction, he is in true sense a man of Urdu and an excellent debater.  He has served his profession for the last 25 years. He is the co-founder of Pakistan Debate Council and has represented Pakistan in the United Nations.

Mr. Ahmed Saya is among the most favourite and renowned teachers of Karachi . He has been awarded as ” The Most Dedicated Teacher”  from British Council.  Sir Ahmed Saya is a big name in the world of Mathematics and accounting,  He has been teaching from a very young age and since then his passion for the profession has only increased.

Through his amazing teaching style, Sir Saya has won many hearts.

Panelist # 5

Mr. Ali Rehan is an entrepreneur in the domain of Ed-Tech and holds a degree in BBA from IBA Karachi.  His keen interest in areas of teaching and entreprenuership led him to start his own company at a very youg age.  His Startup “VALEEM” has been providing online education to students across 13 countries.

Rabia Shahzad is the youngest and first  Pakistani female weight lifter. She has been a Gold and a Silver medalist at the Australian Weight Lifting Championship.  Rabia is holds a degree in  BBA from IBA. She also holds the title of “National Junior Powerlifting Champion” and a  Asian Silver Medal.

Ms. Azima Dhanjee has been offering her services as a  social activist for the deaf community in Pakistan. She is the Co-founder and CEO of ConnectHear, a startup which provides sign language interpretation services.

Ms. Dhanjee has represented Pakistan multiple  times on International forums.

Ms Shazia Khan is a Broadcast Journalist and an  Anchor. She is a versatile program host. Ms. Khan started her career from News One. Currently, she is associated with PTV and hosting the famous show ” Economy in Focus” . She is also offering her services as teacher in a reputable University.

Dr. Shahid Qureshi is an entrepreneurship education professional with a vast teaching experience  in renowned instituitions of the Country.

His extensive knowledge in the areas of management, entrepreneurship, incubation and entrepreneurial Eco system development makes him stand out in the crowd.

Currently he is serving as a Rector and Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship at GIFT University.

Hamza Ali will be joining us as a special guest. He has been in the field of education for the past 7 years and is associated with many renowned institutes.”

Sara Faizan is an educationist and student counselor. She is the Co-Founder of “”Education Karachi””. She spends a considerable amount of time instructing and training students at reputable schools.
