The aims are to enable candidates to:
• Increase intellectual curiosity, develop mathematical language as a means of communication and
investigation and explore mathematical ways of reasoning
• Acquire and apply skills and knowledge relating to numbers, measure, and space in mathematical
situations that they will meet in life
• Acquire a foundation appropriate to their further study of mathematics and of other disciplines
• Appreciate the pattern, structure, and power of mathematics and derive satisfaction, enjoyment, and confidence from the understanding of concepts and the mastery of skills.
Tutor Introduction:
Mathematics has always been my main academic interest. In my career, I adopted mathematics as a profession and did my MSc in Applied Mathematics with 77% from Karachi University. I secured 88% in matriculation (Computer Science) and completed my BSc from PECHS college. Along with that, I hold a position in my first year of BSc with 72%. Recently I am teaching mathematics as a part-time teacher at Al-Yaqeen School and have taught over more than 1000 students in the last 12 years. I am affiliated with many coaching institutions where I have taught mathematics to FSc students and BCom as well.
