What is Artificial Intelligence (AI) ? It is a computer program in the machines. It makes them capable of performing tasks, such as speech recognition, decision making and translation between languages that require human intelligence. The concept of artificial intelligence came after the second world war by a question, can machines think? Subsequently, a human mind thought over it and came up with the invention of the computer.
There are three types of AI
Artificial Narrow Intelligence
It is the most common form. It is specifically designed in order to solve one single problem and will be able to execute a single task really well.
Artificial General Intelligence
It has a human level of cognitive function, across a wide variety of domains such as language processing, computational functioning as well as reasoning.
Artificial Super Intelligence
It would be able to surpass all human capabilities. It would include decision making and taking rational decisions. Secondly entails things like making better art and building emotional relationships.
Purpose
The purpose of AI is to aid human capabilities as well as help us to make advanced decisions with far reaching consequences. It has potential to help humans live more meaningful lives free from hard labor. Apart from this, it helps to manage the complex web of interconnected individuals, companies, states and nations to function in a manner that is beneficial to all humanity.
